Shwmae, I’m Chlo; a Graphic Communication graduate from the University of South Wales with an upper second class honours degree. I come from and am based in Wrexham, North Wales. Growing up with a keen interest in all things creative, I studied art and design in school before moving on to Graphic Design at A-Level at Coleg Cambria - alongside Psychology and Sociology. By the time I was done with A-Levels, I felt I needed more time to explore creatively, which is when I decided to take up a Foundation Art and Design diploma. This course really set me up for a great time at university and it’s a time I always look back on very fondly.

Moving on to starting university in 2018, studying Graphic Communication at the University of South Wales couldn't have gone better. Over my three years, despite the pandemic, I learned so much more than I imagined I would going into it. I had such a joyous time experimenting, exploring and learning. The team at USW were the most amazing mentors and I look back on that time with great appreciation. This paired with the creative location of Cardiff gave me an unforgettable time during my uni years. This was the reason I was able to come out of university into the Graphics industry with nothing but real preparation for the work.

Fast forward to now, I’m in my second graphic design role which has really allowed me to grow. From education to industry, I've learned a lot and am always eager to develop my abilities.
